Dear Procrastinators and Friends!
This week, our theme was ‘Pen Names’, pseudonyms, noms de plume, aliases, allonyms, the lot.
Prompt 1: Would you ever use a pen name? Why? Why not? Discuss. Perhaps you’ve already thought about a pen name or have one. How did you go about ‘finding’ your pen name? Why could you need one?
Prompt 2: Pick a new pen name.
You can either invent one, or, use one the pen name generator (https://blog.reedsy.com/pen-name-generator/) spat out:
Rebecca May
Rain Hargraves
Rey Harlan
Russ Jarvis
Rufus Snider
Prompt 3: Now write, or let a character write a story/poem under your/their pseudonym.
What would your/your character’s alias write about?
Perhaps, the story lies in the reason why you/they have to use a pen name in the first place.
Prompt 4: Five word challenge. Write a story or poem using all of the following words:

- Pseudonym
- Horoscope
- Butterfly
- Warning
- Recover
